Proud to be in the top 5 list!

We are delighted to announce that our restaurant, Banyan on the Thames, is ranked among the top 5 restaurants with the most outstanding views in London.

For one so young, Banyan has dramatically risen on the ladder of success in keeping with the brand name of Hotel Rafayel.  Our trademark warmth and hospitality, the explosion of colours and flavour, soul and spice of our varied cuisine has attracted and impressed both the foodie and the fastidious.  Their dining experience is further enhanced by the outstanding views of the River Thames.  With summer months fast approaching, enjoying your meal al fresco adds another dimension to your day out with your partner or family.

It is not just about food. A meal together brings people closer; it develops a common ground for them to interact and expand their realm of social conversation.  Banyan offers the perfect setting to its guests, and goes over and beyond its duty to ensure that they leave with a great sense of wellbeing and gastronomic satisfaction.

For the Iranian New Year Dinner Dance Party (Norooz 1392)

Norooz is celebrated and observed by Iranian peoples and the related cultural continent and has spread in many other parts of the world, including parts of Central Asia, Caucasus, South Asia, Northwestern China, the Crimea and some groups in the Balkans.

The first day on the Iranian calendar falls on the March equinox, the first day of spring, around 21 March. Norooz marks the first day of spring and the beginning of the year in Iranian calendar.

At the time of the equinox, the sun is observed to be directly over the equator, and the north and south poles of the Earth lie along the solar terminator; sunlight is evenly divided between the north and south hemispheres.

Hotel Rafayel is proud to mark the day with Norooz celebrations and welcomes you to partake in an enjoyable evening
