Upcoming Music Concerts in London May 2010 - O2 Arena



5th – 6th May 2010
Black Eyed Peas with special guest Cheryl Cole The Black Eyed Peas have announced that the UK leg of their eagerly awaited “THE E.N.D World Tour” is coming London’s O2 Arena on 5th, 6th, 27th May and 28th May — with special guest Cheryl Cole!



8th May 2010
Julie Andrews - Julie Andrews will return to the UK stage for the first time in 30 years with a special performance at the O2 Arena. Accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, Julie will take the audience on a nostalgic trip through “The Sound of Music”, “The King and I”, “South Pacific” and “Carousel”.




10th – 11th May 2010
Rihanna - Grammy Award winner Rihanna has announced that she will be embarking upon a full UK arena tour in May 2010, including two nights at The O2. Her recently released fourth album, “Rated R”, includes collaborations with Justin Timberlake, Ne-Yo and Stargate, and this show is guaranteed to be one of the hottest tickets around.


12th – 14th May 2010
Westlife - Westlife have broken so many records in their 10-year career that they are starting to rival The Beatles. They’ve recently taken an extended break from the studio, but are coming back with a brand new album and UK tour. This gig at the O2 Arena is bound to sell out in hours.


15th – 16th May 2010
Michael Bublé - Mega-selling superstar Michael Bublé has announced that he will be returning to The O2 in support of his latest studio album “Crazy Love”. With over 22 million albums sold worldwide, Michael has more than earned his place as one of the most popular artists of this decade.



21st – 23rd May 2010
Classical Opera Bizet’s “Carmen” is one of the world’s favourite operas, and tells the story of fiesty gypsy managing to persuade her guard to release her on the promise of love. Consumed by jealousy, Don Jose pursues Carmen to Seville with tragic consequences. This will be the O2 Arena’s first fully staged opera.

25th – 26th May 2010
Nine-time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys returns to The O2 in May 2010 following the release of her highly anticipated fourth studio album, ‘The Element of Freedom’. This will be the only London date of her European tour.

Rock legend Rod Stewart is coming to The O2 in May/June 2010. You can hear him sing all the classics from his early Faces’ days, through ‘Maggie Mae’ and his recent American songbook classics.

Lady Ga Ga - Following her hugely successful sell out gigs at The O2 in February, the international pop superstar and 3-time Brit Award winner Lady Gaga has announced that she will return to the venue on Sunday 30th May.

George Benson with Wet Wet Wet’s Marti Pellow - George Benson has played everything from hard bop guitar to R&B and jazz instrumentals in his forty year career, topping out with his mega-selling “Breezin” album in 1976. Marti Pellow is no less successful — finding fame as the voice of Wet Wet Wet, before turning to the stage in the West End hit “Chicago”.
