Can't rave enough about Banyan on Thames! An absolute hidden gem offering beautiful river views. Called the hotel to get directions and we were offered complimentary lift from the station and back. Food was the best I've tasted in ages the seafood soup and monkfish and chips was absolutely beautiful. Just a shame we were too full for dessert! TT offer made it great value and the service was perfect. Can't wait to re-visit!

Banyan on Thames is definately worth a visit. It is nicely situated on the Thames with great views. I had the crab starter and my partner had chicken tikka, both were well presented and delicious. I then had fish and chips Banyan style and my partner had Prawn biriani. Could not fault the food or service, with 50% discount it is fantastic value. I stronlgly recommend this restaurant.

As a local residnet in Battersea my partner and I thought we would check out the Banyan on the Thames restaurant which is part of the Rafayel Hotel.
We both had the chefs taster menu and sampled the smoked salmon, mixed kebab starters which were both lovely, fresh and flavoursome. Then for mains we had the Lamb chops and the steak followed by the rice pudding crème brulee and the cheeses. At £40 per head it was great value for a really good quality meal that was cooked beautifully by the chefs.
All of the dishes were lovely, but the steak was extraordinarily good – I would go so far as to say one of the best I have ever had – so tender and flavoursome, really stunning.
Some great wines to choose from and the waiter recommended a lovely port with the cheeses for us. Infact all the staff were friendly and very efficient with out being overbearing.
We also really enjoyed the ambience in the restaurant its got a really contemporary design and upbeat atmosphere and cool music playing at a nice level. We were seated right next to the window which gives a stunning view right down the river in both directions, it`s hard to find such views in London and certainly worth the trip.
Hope it continues to be a great success and look forward to going back again.
